J Ralph Gillespie, was a junior member of the firm of J S Gillespie and Son, abstract and real estate agents. He was born in Grand Rapids. He and his father had been in the business also in Romeo, Armada, Corunna, Owosso, and Ypsilanti. Mr Gillespie, Jr lived one time in East Saginaw, also at Midland.  He and his father came to Caro in 1876. He was married and had at least one child.
