Deeply regretted by his loving wife and best friend, Bernadette Cunningham, his sisters-in-law, Mary Cunningham (Galway) and Teresa Cotter (Ennistymon), his brother-in-law Pat Cunningham (Corofin), relatives, colleagues and many good friends. Prayer Service on Monday (February 12) in St Colman’s Church, Corofin, Co. Galway, H54 X768 at 11.30am prior to burial in Kilmoylan Cemetery, Co. Galway. (obit repeated in Co Kildare).

Sarah Gillespie died Dec 3, 2024 (Nee Cunnea) of Renmore, Galway, formerly of Dooey, Glencolmcille, Co Donegal, peacefully in Galway University Hospital. Predeceased by her husband John and sister Mary. Sadly missed by her sisters Roisin, Nora, her twin Phyllis (Danny), Josephine, Breege (Seamus), and her brothers Cornelius and Peter (Ann), nieces, nephews and extended family.
Reposing at Áras Naofa, within the grounds of St Oliver Plunkett Church, Renmore (H91 PX95) Wednesday 4th December from 2:30pm – 4pm with removal to her brothers house in Dooey, Glencolmcille, Co Donegal (F94 C9P4.). Remains reposing on Thursday from 10am-10pm. House private following the rosary and on the morning of the funeral. Removal on Friday morning from Dooey to St Columba’s Church, Cashel, Glencolmcille for Funeral Mass at 11am with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Co Donegal.
