David Gillespie ANDERSON  Lt Col (Ret) Royal Artillery British Army July 10, 1931—September 16, 2009 Peacefully at home in White Lake Ontario on September 16, 2009 surrounded by family after a brief but courageous battle with cancer at the age of 78.

Survived by his loving wife Dolores (MacDonald). Father Dear to David (Lita), Lois (Greg Wyman) and Susie (Damian Hanel) by his first marriage to Dee (Anderson nee Wood). Caring stepfather to Laurie Stapleton (Tony) and Ian MacDonald (Kelly). Loving grandfather to Shadine (Kevin Robinson), Holly (Chris Leroux) Andrew, Lee, Aislyn, Timothy, Nicholas, Tyler and Victoria. Step grandfather to Ryan MacDonald and Emmalee Mussel and great grandfather to Kayleigh-Daisy Resting at The Boyce Funeral Home Ltd Chapel, Visitation and Reception Centre 138 Daniel Street N. Arnprior Friends and family were invited to attend a short visitation at 11: a.m. on Sunday September 20, 2009 followed by a memorial service in the Boyce Chapel at 12 noon. A private interment was held at a later date.

Sheila Gertrude (Moore) Gillespie, Passed away peacefully at Miramichi Lodge, Pembroke on Saturday, November 2, 2024 in her 78th year. Beloved wife of Ford Gillespie. Loved mother Chantelle (Danny), Mike and Dave. Loving grandmother to Zac (Kayla), Miranda (Tyson), Brittany (Peter) and great-grandchildren Austin, Kane, Kohen, Sierra and Brooklyn. Dear sister of Ross, Jim, Judy, Chris and predeceased by brothers Glenn and Fred. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Daughter of the late Clifford and Pauline (nee Devine) Moore. Cremation has taken place and a Private Family Service will be held at a later date.

Thomas Gillespie – farmed on the 9th Line in McNab Twp. Adopted Rose Chapman, a ‘home’ girl who arrived in 1903 at the age of 8. Rose later married Andrew Hamilton. Thomas left his farm to Rose. More family history.

William Wallace “Bud” Gillespie, born 1922. Died Jan 1, 2001. Suddenly  peacefully in hospital on Monday afternoon, Bud, of Renfrew, formerly of Braeside, at the age of 78 years. Predeceased by his mother, Mary Ellen Gillespie in 1984. Beloved husband of Marilyn (Nee Swan), and of the late Eileen (nee Hodgson). Dearly loved father of David Gillespie (Francis) of Bridgenorth; John Gillespie (Beth) of Bridgenorth; Patrick Gillespie (Patricia) of Arnprior; and Dale”Dodie” Cavanagh (Scott), also of Bridgenorth.  Cherished Grampa of Christopher, Robert and Tressa. Visitation held at Pilon Family Funeral Home & Chapel, Arnprior on Wednesday, and a mass of Christian burial was celebrated in St John Chrysostom Church, Arnprior on Thursday. Interment at Mollach Road Cemetery, Arnprior, Renfrew Co.
