Burke’s Peerage:  Cecil Gillespie, daughter of Walter Gillespie of Toronto married Richard Scougall of Toronto, barrister-at-law, Captain late 48th Highlanders, Toronto, served in Queen’s Own Rifles 1879-1886, and was present at the action of Cut-Knife (medal with clasp) b Oct 5, 1859.
