CENSUS: There are several websites that host records for Ontario census records.  Library & Archives Canada has them all, but I found that the website shuts down overnight when I tried to use them then.  Never tried a second time. Direct link is provided with 1931 census.

So I continue the early census links below to the Mormon website (for 1842 to 1891 census) who themselves used the information from the Canadian website. You need to register one time on  familysearch.org.

1901 and 1911 census are excellent from automatedgenealogy.co for all of Canada.  1901 provides full birthdates. Sometimes immigration dates.

1842          1851     1861          1871          1881          1891          1901      1911          1921

1931  (also provides access to all census at Library & Archives in Ottawa)
