James Bailey (Jim) Gillespie, (late of Glencree, Enniskerry, Co. Wicklow, retired lecturer UCD) – May 8, 2015, peacefully, surrounded by his loving family in the wonderful care of St. Vincent’s Private Hospital Dublin. Jim, much loved husband of Maggie, devoted father of John, Katherine and Naomi and adoring grandfather of Giulia and James. He will be greatly missed. Colliers Funeral Home, Old Connaught Avenue, Bray. Funeral Service (Tuesday) at 11.30am in St. Patrick’s Church, Powerscourt, Enniskerry followed by burial in the adjoining churchyard.

Jim Gillespie, Kiltegan, Co. Wicklow – 26th February 2024 peacefully at Naas Hospital. Sadly missed by his loving wife Doreen, son Dermot, daughters Ann and Lily, sisters Joan and Pamela, daughter-in-law Helga, sons-in-law Aiden and John, grandchildren Robbie, Casey, Mark, Sarah, Rachel and Tom, extended family and close friends. A private family funeral has taken place in accordance with Jim’s wishes. Funeral Director Rathvilly, Carlow.
